Now I'm gonna tell you guys a story about a Japanese dance called "Soran Bushi"...

Before we start, anyone knows what a "Soran Bushi" is? "Soran Bushi" is a one of the most famous traditional song from Hokkaido, Japan. This song has the dance moves which depict fisherman dragging nets, pulling ropes, and carrying over their shoulders.

So what the hell this thing has to do with me? well.. I did this dance.. Not just once, but twice....

First time when we did this dance was for the world week. If you see the moves, you will see when they "pull the rope", they have to go very very low and it went the same for us too. We had to go low low low low low. One of my friends said that before the practice we should do stretching. At first some of us (including me~!) Ignored that and directly did the practice... and the next morning, all my body parts were aching all day, especially the leg part. It hurts so much for just a single step... Thank goodness I didn't have any class at that day, so I can rest at home all day. Here's a video that my friend "kindly" took to show others the negative effect of not doing stretching..

Here's one of our practice video:

Enough speaking, let's just move to the actual performances!! The first one was on the RMIT World Week event:

Because of our.. ehm.. Good performance, we've been asked to perform the dance again in the "International Student Have Talent". At first We only know that we participating as normal performer to entertain the audience, but later we found out that we are participating as a CONTESTANT to compete for the prize money of $150~! hahahah but whatever we are participating as, we still did the practice to make our performance better as we have new dance pattern and new members...

and here's our second performance at "International Student Have Talent":

Of course our hardwork and sweat-dropping practice didn't go waste as we WIN the Contest~~~ Yay~~!!!

Conclusion: hahaha it was very fun when we did the practices and the actual preformances. I always did the dance in high spirit, even though it was a little bit raining when we did the second performance but we still have to shout as loud as we can~! and satisfaction came in the end.

aah this dance will become an unforgettable memories and when I come back to Indonesia next year... I will teach and pass this dance to the Japan Club there. DOKKOISSHO~~!
